There’s pretty much no way you’ve never heard of yoga at this point. It has become insanely popular and for good reasons. Yoga is great for men and women of any age and skill level. However, it can be difficult to get started, especially if you don’t live near a studio. Luckily, my Yoga Burn DVDs reviews by Zoe Bray Cotton are there to help you decide if it’s worth the investment.

Yoga Burn is a 12 week DVD program that aims to help get you in shape and become a yoga pro. Zoe has broken up the DVDs into 3 sections, so you can follow along no matter what your skill level is. Separating them into sections also allows you to see your progress, as you move from the beginner phase to the novice phase, and from the novice phase to the professional phase.

Phase One

The first phase is the Foundational Flow Phase. The Foundational Flow Phase is the first phase because it is the most basic phase and is great for beginners. So, if you are brand new to yoga, do not skip this phase. During this phase, Zoe teaches you the very basics of yoga, including safety and how to build a mind and body relationship. She also shows you a couple of yoga poses that help boost metabolism.

Phase Two

The second phase, the Transitional Flow Phase, is the second step in the program and builds on the first phase. In this phase you will learn a few more poses, and from there you will learn sequences. The sequences will be comprised of poses from the first and second phase, and are meant to enhance your mood and health.

Phase Three

The third, and last, phase is the Mastery Flow Phase, and as you can guess, it’s for masters. Once you have worked your way through the first two phases, you should be more than ready to do the third phase. The third phase will combine everything you have learned. The sequences in workout three aim to boost metabolism and tone your body.

My Thoughts

Overall, this is a great program. I have been doing it for 10 weeks and I am already seeing results. I had no clue that yoga would make me the feel the burn just as bad, if not worse, than my typical cardio workout. I highly recommend this to any woman out there looking to boost metabolism and tone your body. Yoga Burn by Zoe Bray Cotton is by far one of the best DVD workout programs out there. She makes it very easy to follow and walks you through everything thoroughly. I was worried I was going to be expected to already know poses, but this program is designed with beginners in mind and is a great place to start your yoga journey. Best of all, it is extremely affordable. My local yoga studio charges $15 for one session, and that can get pricy if you go 4 times a week. Before you know it you’ve spent hundreds on yoga in a matter of 12 weeks.
